Medical and Dental Insurance

  • Quabaug offers a selection of HMO's for medical insurance coverage; currently through Blue Cross & Blue Shield of MA. The Company reimburses a portion of inpatient and outpatient hospital co-payments. Most office visits, including routine eye exams and chiropractor services, have a $25 co-payment. There are three levels of prescription co-payments, and discounts at selected fitness clubs.
  • Two levels of dental coverage are available through Delta Dental of Massachusetts. Most services covered at 80%, some have deductible of $50/person/year, or $150/family/year.
  • Early retirees and their spouses may continue on both of these group plans, with their share of the premium based on years of service, until reaching age 65.

401(k) Savings and Profit Sharing Plan

  • After one year of employment, associates can enroll quarterly and save as much as 100% of their pay up to the annual IRS limits - contributions are exempt from taxes
  • Quabaug matches 25% of the first 4% associates contribute
  • The plan has a loan option available

Company Cafeteria
Our company cafeteria provides excellent, homemade selections of breakfast and lunch including hot entreés. The food service coordinator takes extra care in preparing selections for those who have special dietary requirements. She is truly customer oriented and works to build her clientele.
